Career Steps

For we want to accompany our real estate agents during their education and make it more visible for our clients we developed four career steps they have to climb to become a top estate agent.

Trainee

This is the stage of all newcomers and lateral entrants who want to become an estate agent.

This training programme can be completed within three or four months. By then, the start-up training should be finished.
A RE/MAX Trainee works either with a Broker/Owner or another independent, licensed RE/MAX Associate.
A Trainee may only help his B/O or another independent, licensed RE/MAX Associate.

Members who take part in this training programme may only work with clients under the guidance of the B/O and the independent, licensed RE/MAX Associate respectively. In particular they are not allowed to conduct negotiations on their own, they only may support the estate agent or the Broker/Owner.

Associate

An Associate has already finished the start-up training programme and is employee of a B/O, partner in a real estate association or works as independent contractor with the status "manager under trade law" for RE/MAX.

A RE/MAX Associate tries to perfect the already learnt theory and his skills by the spezial training programme SUCCEED which is a necessary tool for every Broker/Owner to get more practical training.

For the further career management RE/MAX Austria recommends one year of practical work to gain experience. After that one can easily climb the next step of the career ladder.

In Austria it is obligatory to pass a qualifying examination before one can work as estate agent. The YRMC Professional Training programmes provide you with all necessary informations. (Education)

Professional
(Licensed Real Estate Agent)

RE/MAX Professionals are part of the upper class of all Austrian estate agents and possess their own business licence. RE/MAX Professionals have the possibility and the qualification to keep the title "estate agent" or to use the title "RE/MAX Professional".

RE/MAX Professionals may also bet he contact person and mentor for newcomers.

PREMIUM Agent

To ensure the continuing education, as written down in Art. 3 RE/MAX Code of Ethics, which should guarantee the increase of our competence and the service and advantages for our clients, we started the RE/MAX PREMIUM training programmes.

These training courses are the basis to reach the last step at RE/MAX Austria – the PREMIUM Agent. This step can be reached by taking part in only 4 seminars per year, chosen from the RE/MAX curriculum, which is getting revised and completed every year.

The title "PREMIUM Agent" is conferred for one year. If no or too less educational work is done during one year the title cannot be conferred for the following year.
